Peter Ingram has been Chief Technology Officer at Addison Lee for 29 of the company's 40 years in existence. In that time, he has led the company from being a small operator in Battersea with a handful of cars to being the largest private hire operator in Europe with a fleet of some 5,500 vehicles undertaking up to 40,000 jobs a day.
To service the millions of rides, which the company provides annually, Addison Lee built, in-house, technology, which enables it to allocate, dispatch and bill for jobs while the rest of the industry was still using paper dockets.
Peter has been an advocate of disruptive technology throughout his career, more recently being named as “Disruptive Tech Leader of the Year” at the 2017 Techie Awards by Techworld.
